Mark is a confident and enthusiastic host and speaker and loves to get in front of a live audience. As a speaker he has lectured at the Royal Institution in London, at the National Astronomy Meeting, at the Edinburgh Fringe and at Science Festivals around the country. He can offer sessions talking about sleep, astronomy, space and science and can tailor these for public audiences, schools or corporates.
When talking about space and astronomy Mark can discuss and debate many different aspects at all levels. Such is the depth of his knowledge he lectured about space for 140 hours in September 2021 and was still making sense at the end of the lecture. This latter experience has led Mark to develop a fascination with sleep and its importance and, as a result, he can now offer sessions talking about sleep especially to schools and corporates to help them get the best out of their students and employees.
Mark is also a capable host at corporate events having chaired debate panels, award ceremonies and live events.
